THE OTHER Backlight!

Post by Bibin »

Heheh! I fixed mine, and the lighting is now super even! It looks dimmer in the photos since my camera is adjusting itself for this, but it's quite bright.

I see someone was burning the midnight oil, working at 3:30AM.

Looks pretty cool. Too bad cameras never do an LCD justice.

Very nice, very nice indeed! Not as nice as mine, though...

Does it look more even in real life? Also, I still see streaky things, are those fingerprints, adhesive, stress lines, scratches, all of the above? :P

Can you take a pic of it next to your ipod touch 1g an max brightness, then again on minimum brightness? (On the brightness adjust screen, it is pretty white, and proves that it is the correct level). That way, we can compare backlights.

Taking pics now.

Yours may be brighter, but you have a pissy 2 hour battery life. Mine has roughly 8 hours (they haven't run out yet, so going on 9 soon!). Also, I got some new batteries for doing that test and it's brighter.

Those are fingerprints on adhesive - I intend on removing them later. No scratches though; once I do that it'll be perfect.

8 hours?! What kind of batteries are you using? I don't remember the GBP having that kind of battery life

I have 4 hour battery life, and I will have more once I find a better way to power this. :P I got 2 hours with some random AAAs I found, new batteries lasted much longer.
