forum troubles

Hey is it just me or is this forum more offline then online the last hours, loading goes really slow and i get a lot of message like page can't be found.

so is this a server problem? or is my ISP messing arround again?

Yep, about 400 guests on now. It was 800 about 12 hours ago. His N64 thread will probably have over 100k views by the end of the hour.

You know I've been online all day writing articles for Make, searching for PC mods, and it seems like the whole interwebs is slow.

RE our server, it's already a Quad Core Xeon, what more could I possibly do?

Hopefully the Darksiders laptop will be done soon, the case is supposed to come from Colorware after the new year.

Don't do anything about it; it's fine 99% of the time, and once the hype dies down it will be back to its old blazing-fast self. Who knows, it could even be another server on the same network as this one generating lots of traffic.

At least more guests = more ad hits = more beer, right?
