What you want is a Bluetooth adapter. It connects any Bluetooth device (like a Wii remote) to a computer via a little USB dongle. Then, using GlovePIE, you translate the button presses to key presses.

EDIT: Wait, Rockband? I just skimmed through, didn't see that. Sorry, I have no idea. Maybe it's the same thing?

I had my doubts too, but never hurts to try.

And no it isn't a Blutooth adaptor, Cheap ass Harmoix would rather use their own tech than use the Wiimote, or its own standalone Bluetooth.

Or does it use Blutooth, just not through the Wii's bluetooth?

I think it is just uses regular RF.
