Split This Forum?
The current-gen systems (360/PS3/Wii) have been garnering more and more attention lately. Should they be split off to their own forum, to help separate their info from the previous-gen consoles (Xbox/PS2/GCN)?

YES!
360 and PS3 laptops, while cool, are so rarely made that it does not make sense to spam up the earlier gen system forums with all of those kinds of threads.
Also, the gamecube and ps2 are getting a lot of attention now, why not give them a place of their own?
One question: Will the mods/admins go through ALL the old topics and split them properly? Or will they be left in the older forum?

I'm game for splitting it.
Oh, and good point about the attraction to GC portables, the only WIP is mine.

I voted it once, Ill say it again!
"Meh"
I don't care one way or the other. As far as I am concerned, go with the popular opinion.

Yes.
Though personally I think each system should have its own, I'll settle for just separating the next gens and yesterdays gens.
To clean things up a bit, you might also consider having the consoles as sub-forums. And having the forums being Atari, Coleco, Sega, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft etc etc etc.
An example (Covering the systems I know family lines of best) would be:
Ya know. Simple, but organized.

doing subforums like that would be tedious. i do agree that the wii/ps3/360 should be split from the gc/ps2/xbox forum tho. since modding the new systems is becoming more popular

Problem is, phpbb2 doesn't support subforums. That would get really messy really fast. (Plus, stuff like the 5200 doesn't get hacked that often, and this forum isn't really big enough to be that spread out while still feeling active.)
