This was actually one of the more constructive threads lately

oh, I wanted more than 50 too! I'll do the same thing!bacteria wrote:Actually, although we may (I certainly did) forget who pointed these out originally, the fact they are getting our attention now is credit indeed. I didn't take credit for finding these, as I didn't find them originally; however they are a great find and people should know about them.
I don't get precious when people take my ideas and "finds" and use them, in fact, happy to share.
Although I am not the first to use them, I can't buy from the US sources Rekarp referred to as their postage to the UK is excessive - I stumbled on the same items on ebay when I did a search for "tactile switches", so would have seen them anyway then, from someone in Hong Kong.
I bought 100 of them a few weeks ago; 30 mins ago I asked them to offer "a deal" for 200 more, they came in with £20 for 200; I asked them to list it on e-bay, which they just did, so I bought moreThat's 10p each including postage, good price.

Buy some if you want any! They also sell in 50's too. Look, that's me being helpful again and community based!
You could've gone with the handle prokaryote, I'm sure that hasn't been taken.bacteria wrote:No Kyo, I didn't find them first, not that it matters. What I did find though was that supplier and give links to it; and ask them to provide a sale for 200 of them. You notice on "purchases" I have bought some (I am "Peagloss" on e-bay, BTW); only site I use that handle, but when I signed up a couple of years ago, "Bacteria" was already taken on e-bay and I didn't want numbers after my handle.
I think he meant they were giving mmoshkowich the could shoulder. They never truly answered his question until rekarp provided information to the correct links. In that way, I also saw it as disrespectful as well. Not degradingly disrespectful, but enough to be slightly annoying.NesScotland wrote:Are you serious dude??Rekarp wrote:Seriously the lack of respect on this forum is degrading at times.
..
Ground should be labeled on the connector pinout. If not it's pin 7 on the first diagram and pin 11 on the second one. The ground goes to the ground on the chip.mmoshkowich wrote:Also kinda off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread. I was looking at the SNES IC Pinout (<a href="http://wocares.com/modding/article.php?id=14">link</a>) and I understand how to hook up everything except the pin that says ground. Where do I hook this pin up (and please don't say ground because that does not solve my problem!)
Thank you in advance and My SNES WIP will be up soon!
Hmmmm... you've got me confused as well now. I'm sure someone with experience can tell you the answer.mmoshkowich wrote:What your saying makes no sense to me because on the IC chip there is a pin that is labeled brown the same color as the wire that goes to pin 7, that is why I am so confused! I saw LOB used the IC in his ZN-40 SNES's so it would be great to get some imput from him or somebody who has used this! Once again thank you
