Best way to connect N64 to PS1 Screen

I plan on soldering wires from the traces of the compostite video and left and right audio pins on the underside of the N64 mobo to the the PSone screen, like this:

Will this work? I read the video isnt very stable on one site when you take it directly from the N64 a/v pins. Is there a better way?

I have yet to see a unstable composite video signal come out of a n64, rgb is a different story though.

Ok, thanks. Also, is it possible to have stereo for my portable? I looked over the pinouts and pin 11 is mono, and pin 12 is used to 'calculate' stereo. Should I just ignore this and use pin 11 as left audio and pin 12 as right audio?

yeah, use pin 12 as right audio.
