Nintendo Cartridge Storage

Post by Deon »

Ok so here is my idea, basically this is a memory card that adapts to the Nintendo and sits in the cart slot.

So what the basic idea is that you put your cart in and it copies the cart info so that you can simply play it off this internal memory. Its like playing a rom in your Nintendo, but legal and also can bring use to old carts without switching them when you want to play other games.

I don't mod myself, but I know for a fact that this is possible. I'm just putting the idea out there to possibly inspire someone into doing this. I have no intention of starting this project because when it comes to circuit board work I have no clue even where to start.

Well that's a great idea....and it's sorta been done minus the put in your own cart thing.

Wow, good idea! It is like an NES flashcard and a NES backup unit combined, but losing the advantages of both!

If you have to plug the cart in anyway, why bother with a flash card setup? I fail to see the appeal of this.

Sometimes, life isn't fair, but you just have to work around it.
