That GBA Composite video-in thing

Post by Fank »

Can anyone tell me what it is called? You can plug in a composite video cable (and audio cables I think) and use the GBA as a screen.

I'd love to get one to use a as secondary screen for my laptop. It's not big, but it sure is cool.

I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!

I think you have it wrong. There is a composite out device for GBA, which allows you to play GBA on a different screen.

A quick Google search gave me thse two links, among others:

http://www.superufo.com/review_html/GBA ... erter.html
http://www.gadgetspy.co.uk/2005/03/31/g ... av-adapter

Anybody who really wants to hack a GBA is looking for a transverter; thus they are expensive, but fairly well documented.

Thanks but, no thanks. I want a GBA because it's smaller and more geeky-looking.

You can get screens of the same resolution for that money too, though.

but ok, if you're after looking geeky then that's your decision.
