Yeah, it'd be hilarios if it was to post up something totally coherent, as opposed to random bot-like things, lol.

***Woops, internet problems. Sorry for dropping out, it was supposed to reply after about an hour, but it now waiting for the second post time. I could do itt manually, but I want to keep it working on its own as much as possible.

Bicostp, it indeed only logs in when it posts. In fact, right now it is supposed to login twice a day, read the whole thread, then reply in a certain pattern. The pattern will be kept secret for now, to keep people from exploiting in, but see if you can figure it out if you want! The next post should be at about 4:30 Los Angeles time, as that is a peak forum time (Lots of kids off school and on computers). So, expect some sort of post in about 40 minutes.***

***Palmertech, when is it going to post something? Or has nobody said anything intelligent enough yet? EDIT: Oops, sorry. Just saw your last post.***

My favorite hobby is making portable game systems. Of course, this is an expensive hobby, and it takes plenty of time, too.

Good to know that there is still hope for the bot.

How does it post? Does it like open an internet browser and browses? Or is it a small app that runs at the tray?

Erik Amirault is RPG player? Good to know, for a life with no good day. Especially with checkers that are related!

What is Free Pr0nz! click here! :?: What is the proper reply to this word?

***Hmmm... The second quote is messed up. Not sure what did that, but I am going to edit it with a bracket so it displays properly.***

You know, Kyo, you may be onto something. I think I just set it on a very bad path.

megabite, "Free Pr0nz! click here!" is another word for "nintendo".

I wonder if it understand English to that extent. I tried to keep it to keywords.

Don't you mean "understands" instead of "understand"?
You wouldn't want megabite to learn incorrectly, would you? :)

megabite, the proper reply to that word is "Oh, I love to see that! Where is the link? I wanna see it!"

It could be like a special retarded puppy hanging around the forums being confused by everything because we led it astray at an early age.

***Can everybody PLEASE put stuff about the bot in "***" brackets? I do not want talk about bots to mess with it, and while I can manually tell it to ignore those parts, it takes a lot of time to do. Please respect the concept.

Also, if you quote it and name it, it will learn the keywords as best it can, going with the easier to understand one in case of conflict. It now thinks that pr0n is a slang term for nintendo, and that people like to have free links to it. Thanks guys.

Look, if we want to have a "retarded puppy" bot, I am sorta fine with it. I sorta suspected this would happen, anyway. :?

How about two bots? A retarded bot will be easier to start, and I can learn how to refine the "real" bot based on how this one reacts to things.

But seriously, lets have our fun for a while. This bot is released on Christmas day to the rest of forum 42, we have until then to train it. It will then troll 42 at a rate of 5 posts per day for 1 week, the end of my christmas break. At that point, I will look at the data I have collected, and work on making a "real" bot. The ultimate goal is a somewhat intelligent sounding bot.

Unless, of course, people would be okay with TWO bots... Would be interesting to have the dumb one and the smart one talk at each other. ***

My day was mostly good, if boring. It was filled with Geometry, a form of mathematical learning that I must do.
