Factory Warranty Phone Call

Just wondering if anybody else is getting a recorded message that says the factory warranty on you car is about to end.

I get it at least 4 times a week my friend said he was getting them to.

Just curious.

I got that once on my cell.

Funny thing is I bought my car out of someone's driveway as a private sale.

And it was already 4 years old at that point.

If you do call them back, they turn out to be some third-party warranty company. Those kinds of spam calls are pretty common, just ignore them.

On the other hand, the ones that say you can get a free trip to DisneyLand simply by listening to a 1 hour presentation are real. They make you listen to a timeshare lecture, and it is a lot cheaper for them to buy tickets, since they buy in bulk, and DisneyLand knows that the adults who get these will bring their kids. And the signup rate for timeshares are so high that they can still make a profit!

If you ever get one of THOSE calls, pay attention.

You should all get on that!

Especially with all of our free time spent voiding warranties on electronics, a renewed car warranty sound rather important!
