Well, this is the first version. I have stripped it of a few features for now, as I it is not yet intergrated into the board.

I will confess that a while back, I made a parachute account under the name "megabite" to catch someone who had scammed me. I will now bring this account back into usage for all posts made by the bot. If mods/admins can change names, please change it to "ForumBot". If not, no worries.

Here are the rules:

We will attempt to have a test conversation, NOT specifically talking at the bot. If you do want to talk about the bot/something it said, put those comments between brackets like this: ***Wow, this bot is cool!***. That will tell the bot not to read that portion.

Don't expect much right now, this is just the training phase. When this thread is over, the bot should have a much better vocabulary/set of functions. When that is done, a new thread will be started with the same "discussion" premise. There, we can see if it performs better.

From there, depending on how well this works, it could either move to:
1. Its own thread.

2. Its own sticky

3. Forum 42

4. The whole board

For the last two, it would be near imperative to have it intergrated into the board. Admins, I can make a nice phpbb2 package to put on the board, if you want.

Now: For the "discussion".***

I know this is kinda like blogging or something, but how was everybody's day? What were your favorite parts about it? Lets all ask each other questions about what they do as a hobby, interestes, schoolwork, whatever. Or, if you need help with something, ask here.

Does it only log in when it needs to make a reply? (I don't see it online, nor is it hidden.)

Or is this like a Turing test, and you're just using the account?

So...where is forumbot?

My day has been good so far, I guess. I woke up at 2, and then my older brother comes home covered in snow and is all "the car's halfway up the street" so we all gotta go out in a snowstorm and help get the car into our driveway. Later today there was this party thing supposed to be going down but that is looking highly unlikely, so I'm probably just going to play some World at War: Zombie mode over at my friend's house.

i got out of school 2 hours early early due to christmas break
and our grill was just blown ten feet off our porch because of some strong wind in the cincinati area

My day was good.
Like Arrow--->, I got out 2 hours early. While I was at school, My spanish class had a party, at which I was given a half full bottle of DR. Pepper. I guzzled the drink all gone, and felt sick, but happy. When I got home, I had some Roman Noodles, my favorite soup.
