which is smaller?

Just a quick question for future reference. Which mobo is smaller? The original model SNES, of the original model Super Famicom? Thank's

don't know about the famicon, but the original SNES has two board revisions, the old ones and the 1chip boards, make sure you get a newer one, they have smaller boards. I'd give you criteria on how to find out what they are, but after misinforming bacteria I came to the conclusion that these vary from country to country. The serial number on the back should be a good indicator, the higher the better. I also read something about the "eject" being moulded in the eject button instead of being printed on it in some other thread.

Is there a particular reason that you don't want to use a Mini SNES?

yes, they are usually more expensive( from what I've seen), and harder to find in classic gaming stores.
