Resident Evil 5 Demo Information (XBOX360)

Hey guys. Welcome to the Resident Evil 5 Demo Information thread made by HotDog-Cart. >:3

As some of you may or may not know, there is a Resident Evil 5 Demo that was leaked, and an alternative demo given to Japanese 360 Users.
Both of these demos are the same. Its just the "leaked" demo (If I can even call it that), is english. There is english voice acting, english menu, english text, everythings english. While the japanese demo is in Japanese but with an English subtitle option.

Japanese Demo Method:
*Note: This demo is in japanese. Its only avaliable to japanese GOLD members. So unless you have a microsoft yen card, or have no created 3 accounts on your 360, you should NOT do this step.)*

1) Create a japanese hotmail account. To do this go to www.hotmail.jp, or go into regular hotmail and make a new account and put your location to "Japan".

2) Make a japanese xbox account. When asked to sign up for xbox live, do so and put your email as the japanese one that you just created.

3) Go into the Japanese demo marketplace. Now download the demo.


English Demo Method:
***Note: This requires a DVD/CD Burner. Requires a DVD/CD. Requires a program such as nero or alchoholsoft. Also note: This method may be considered piracy to some. The demo does not make capcom nor japan any money directly from the consumer. There is no disclaimer in the game that disallows copying. This may fit into the gray area of this forum. If so, do not close this thread. Contact me personally via PM or forum post.***

1) Get a DVD or CD.

2) Go to your favorite torrent website and search for "Resident Evil 5 Demo Xbox360".

2b) If you do not want to do a torrent, there is a website that offers 2 direct FTP downloads. I cannot provide you with this website. Go into google and search for "Resident Evil 5 Demo Download FTP".

3) Once downloaded, extract the rar.

4) Now, insert your CD/DVD.

5) Open your burning program and take the "content" folder from inside the rar and burn it to the CD/DVD using an option called "Data Disk". You MUST use data disk or this will not work. For best results, burn on the lowest speed.

6) Insert game into your 360.

7) Have fun!

Q: Will there be a ps3 demo soon?
A: Yes, but it will be provided by capcom to the US on an upcoming date.

Q: Is there online multiplayer?
A: No, but in the official demo for 360 and PS3, there will be.

Q: If I have a problem burning the disk, who do I contact?
A: Me.
