hi
I recently bought a sega nomad, I have a battery pack [not rechargable] but am not pleased with the battery life. i do however have eight 2600 mA ni-mh batteries that i purchassed online from some store i forget. i also have a ni-mh / ni-cd RC car battery and charger
now what i am wondering is if i can somehow cut the port attached to the RC car battery, then solder it onto the sega nomad's battery pack with six ni-mh AA batteries inside, then have the from the RC car battery charger attach to the sega nomad battery pack with the newly soldered port.
i would also like to know how to wire it so that i could charge it while i play and not create excess voltage input to the sega nomad. that would obviously fry it and that would not be good. i would appreciate if the directions were in a diagram format because i am very picture oriented and it would be very appreciated.
also i am wondering if the charger i have can charge the batteries that i have. here are the spec.s for the charger:
~front side~
5-Hour charger
Ni-Cd/Ni-Mh 7.2volts
-then theres a switch between Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh modes-
