MONSTER JAM WORLD FINALS 6!! GO DENNIS!!!

Post by RNS0504 »

Hey,
Although most of you ABSOLUTELY dont care at ALL, the monster Jam World Finals 6 is on tomorrow. What is this world finals you ask? The World Finals is the "Superbowl" except for monster trucks. It comes once a year and is tomorrow. 20 trucks are invited into it, and to win is a great honor. If you care at all, you can go to WWW.USHRA.COM and listen to a live broadcast tomorrow starting at 7 PST. Im gonna try to manage the broadcast, DP chat, and WF cht all at once. The WF, as with all other shows, is made up of 2 parts, Racing and Freestyle. Racing is... well, i hope you can figure that out. In the WF, the trucks actually start on cement outide the stadium, and enter the "chicane" which is an S turn, except in the turn, you get off the cement and onto the dir while turning. Very RISKY! Then, go down the straightaway to the hairpin turn, which is usually the deciding factor of the winner, as only the most Skillful drivers can handle this turn without problems. Then, right after the turn, SKY the truck over the ramp and the cars. First to cross wins.

Freestyle is when the trucks go on the track and have 90 seconds to do whatever they please. Hit cars backwards, his the Buses in reverse, crush the airplane, hit the bus sideways, and go crazy. The key is Momentum. The more of this, the higher the judges will score. The freestyle winner is an honor, as it is incredibly difficult to last 90 seconds on this track without crashing the truck, getting stuck, or rolling over on the lid. This is my favorite part of the show. I hope Dennis in GD wins. Hes been around MT's for 24 years, and has always had trouble at the WF. Last year, he won racing in the WF. For the first time in 24 years. This man dedicated his entire life to Monster Trucks, and was crying on TV when he won. I felt so good for him, considering hes been my favorite for more than half of my life. That guy is my role model. Hes done so much, he invented freestyle. Hes broken part of his back, 3 ribs, his hand, while driving. He also split a kneekap in half on a 1" diameter piece of roll-cage tubing. He deserves to win.

I'm just letting you because Monster trucks are, basically, my life, and what I am going to do when I come of age. Im already working on my own truck. Plus, who doesnt like 10 ton trucks standing 12 feet inthe air jumping over school busses an crashing and rolling.

P.S. Whether or not you listen live, root for GRAVE DIGGER!!! Hes the BEST and anyone who says otherwise can have a little chat with me and Dennis Anderson (the driver of Grave Digger)! YOU MUST ALSO PREY THAT TOM MEENTS AND MAX. D. LOSES!!! Maybe next year i can afford to fly to Las vegas to go and see Dennis in the World Finals in one of his last seasons of racing.

P.S.2. If I start Spazing on the boards of the Chat because Grave Digger loses, Dont be mad. And if i spaz cause he sweeps R+F,be happy!

My design is a modified Patrick. Its gonna have the strenght and flexibility a Patrick w/ the abilties of theold Wolverine, i liked how that truck acted. Also, John (Seasock) invited me up to his garage in PA this summer so he can give me some tips, and help me with some of my ideas. Hes gonna show me how to really make a successful chassis with a small budget. I mean, if Dennis did it, so can I (probably not).

As for you getting one, im hearing rumors ot the old LittleTiger being sold. frequent the Monster Mania forums to be up to date.

I'm not familiar with Max D, but I do know 2 things:

I want Gravedigger to win
I want Meents to lose :D

For those that don't follow baseball, here's how it is: Gravedigger=Red Sox/Cubs Meents=Yankees :)
