NES / NOAC boardsize

Hey, i think a post like this would be usefull unfortunately i can't really tell much about it.

the idea would be:

NES - L x W x H in inches - L x W x H in centimeters
NOAC .. - L x W x H - Lx W x H

if you have info about the sizes and energie i'll update the startpost...
(just found part of the first noac.)

NES - ?? x ?? x ?? - 12 x 19.6 x 1.5 (just the mainplate with everything(tvpart/expansionslot/nescardslot) disconnected)

in case you think what the hell is he talking about...

i'm working on a NES portable, and i'd like to figure out what board would fit best to my design idea.. and i think others might come across this same thought about what sizes those things are.

also, any idea if there is a difference in PAL and NTSC versions of the NES and clones??

As far as differences in PAL and NTSC versions of the original NES, there is one, and maybe another. The NTSC NES runs at a slightly higher speed, whereas the PAL NES runs at a slightly slower speed. The PPUs may also be different internally, so as to develop the PAL and NTSC video signals (which are more different than simply the FPS alone).

I couldn't tell you much more about the differences until I get a PAL NES however.

I'd really like to learn what every single difference is, including the layout, etc., but it'll have to wait a bit longer yet.
