You want to put a hd drive in? It won't play game but it would be a really fancy hd player...Why don't you just pop it open and replace the drive it would cost you like 50 bucks and an answer to your second question is no.

You could also network it to your PC and steam all your media (movies, pictures, music) to it. Connect your iPod, or external HDD for the same effect.
