Was this ok to do?

a person wanted to buy a item. i said ok, they say ok. a month in a half later, no PM. i finally sell to someone else. then, they come back, saying they just made a paypal account. uh oh. ii already sold the item, and here they are, wanting the item. What do i do?

Tell them you waited 4 weeks with no response, and had to sell it to someone else because you needed the money.

Yeah it's fine. If they didn't contact you about the paypal thing then just move on. It's not a big deal.
