Other name ideas that crossed my mind before settling: Chromer, Jet, BLACK, Darklight, Silver, and one very irate name I came up with as I ran sand paper over a slightly-open wound. It starts with a "C" and can either describe a "Bad man" or a "Good woman". If you still need help figuring it out, look for George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can't Say on Television" on YouTube. Not only is it funny, but it will tell you the word.
Production time: About 2 hours of work (Fine sanding). About 40 hours of total time (Sand, paint coat one, dry, sand, paint coat two, dry, assemble).
And finally... Horrid, blurry, poorly lit, grainy pictures!!! (Special thanks to my ACER laptop and its built-in high-definition webcam. Odd how no matter what, webcams always seem to suck. Mine just sucks less than most. HD FTW!)

As you can see (Despite them being webcam pictures) it has a very smooth flat-black paint job. That's partly because I sanded the first coat, and partly because of my form. The silver/chrome/whatever you want to call it is a simple disk of aluminum ducttape. I always keep a roll because its actually quite good looking (Not to mention its conductive, so it could in theory be used to fix broken traces).
Now, its not done. I'm waiting on a business partner, and what I would consider a friend of mine, from the forums to get some Retro Duo buttons to me. Then I'll take it back apart, and swap the stockers out for the Retro's (Being careful not to scratch my paint). But for now, its a nice, simple, and IMHO, very nice looking controller. And it still works, so it proves I can do somethings correctly.
I'll post more pics when the buttons get here. I might also decide to put a thin line of my aluminum tape across the controller for its namesake. Might not. Dunno. Might also tap a blue LED off the controller power and put it in that little mold mark by the ABXY buttons. Would it be safe to do that?
Opinions? Kudos? Ideas? Should I keep my day job (Assuming I had one)?
