Fun Christmas time Idea/forum project
Well last year, I tried to get some people here to sing some Christmas Songs and make it into a downloadable Album. (Click here to see last years attempt.) But I started project too close to Christmas. And the idea ended up failing with me receiving only one finished song.
So anyways, here a list of song with lyrics: http://www.nevada.edu/~blake/Christmas.songs.html
Now thats link just has lyrics. If you want music with the song(s) you chose to sing. You need to either make the music or find the music without words on the web. But you don't have to have music. It's your choice
Also if there is a song not listed there that you want to sing. And you know the lyrics. Your more than welcome to sing it.
And I don't care if you sing well or not so well. This is to be fun, not a singing comp.
Rules:
- You can do up to 4 songs a person
- Songs must be in either AAC, MP3, or OGG audio format
- All finished songs are to be PM'ed to me with the download link. So I can download it and add them into the one big album
- The deadline to send in your finished song(s) will be December 22nd. And I'll put the Album up for download on the 23rd
- Please no songs with curse word in the lyrics. (There shouldn't be any curse words in Christmas songs to begin with anyways.)
- And again, Have Fun!
List of songs that have been chosen:
Nightwheel - We Wish You A Merry Christmas
Yoshilime - Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer
Metallica Man X - Jingle Bell Rock
Lovablechevy - Peace Child (O Come Emmanuel)
Typamc95 - White Christmas
Bass Creator - Let It Snow
Extreme_Jesus - Jingle Bells (instrumental)
Arrow--> - Jingle bells in spanish - Cascabeles
SonyPortableizer - Nutcracker Sweets (Possibly)
SonyPortableizer - 1812 (Possibly)
Palmertech - Hand written unnamed song
Finished Songs:
Bass Creator - Let It Snow
Extreme_Jesus - Jingle Bells (instrumental)

I was thinking of a headbanging version of Jingle Bell Rock...there is another tune I'm thinking of too, but I don't recall the name of it as it's more of an instrumental bit.

The answer to 1984 is 1776!
