Idea: Secret santa

while i was in bed, i was remembering when i was in grade school, we used to do secret Santa. well, i thought that would be a fun idea to put on BH, so i came up with a few rules:

1.you dont have to participate
2.try and make it something you dont have to buy, like maybe from your trade thread?
3.Karma karma karma....what i mean is, dont send somebody a dead bug or something
4. if you want to join, state your name, and "santa" will pm u back with your gift receiver
5.you have to send a BH user video game related crud.

anything else? if you object, state why. if everybody loves it, we need a santa account. like, santa08 or something? i hope this is a good idea!

if we do this, we should only allow well known and trusted members to do it, otherwise everyone will send something out, but no one will receive something in return. Complications may occur during shipping. I don't know how to ship something to america, but I'm sure it's expensive. And vice versa, of course.

International shipping's going to be a total female of the dog species. It's generally cheaper to ship to America than out of America, though.

I'm not sure I really like the idea, though. There's a lot of stuff in trade threads that no one's really interested in. lol

hmm, good points, but heres the thing: if you want to do it, post your name "santa" will decided who gets who. nobody will be left out.

Why not do electronic things. Send a cool picture, song, video, etc.

Sounds like a better idea, and I know most people here don't really care, but the copyright infringement and such might get a little high.(Ben might not want that kind of stuff on here.)

thats what i was thinking.

at school, secret santa is easy since all your friends (if you had any) are right there. online, its a just a mess and orginaizing would be insane.
