7. The PS2 is a complicated project, especially if you don't know what you're doing. Start with something easier, like a NOAC portable.

your kidding right?

you dont know how to hook up a ps2 to a screen? i dont own one, but unless i'm incredibly mistaken you use av cables. its the same for a pocket screen.

...and last but not least how to make a built in controller?

you mean having the controller in the portable?

Ummm, generally, no. You solder wires from the av out points ON the PS2 to the av in points on the screen.

What is it with you and trying to answer stuff you don't know?

but thatas a bit harder, and AV cables is what im doing because im afraid to hurt my psone by soldering it.

Building a portable without soldering to any of the components would be kind of cool too, though. probably not even that hard, just bulkier, cause you can't relocate stuff

It would be impossible with a battery though(unless you used alligator clips), you would only have a semi-portable

Sigh. It's probably one of the easiest parts. All you do is re-wire the controller to the ic chip on it. just follow the traces.

You wire it up like this and play it

You have to check stickies in other threads for specific pins on the controller (not in order) and the screen power and component.

I suggest component video because this is your first mod and RGB is harder.
