NOAC "catrtidge" glop to real cart?

Hi all, I've got a little something I'd like to do if someone with more NOAC experience than I could help me. I have a portable famiclone made by HyperKin. Aside from the cartridge plug being flaky it's pretty cool, and I was wondering if it'd be possible for me to make a multicart for it. I have the board from a Super Fun Joy, which has glop chips, but I'm not sure how to manage the pinout from the Fun Joy to a normal US 70pin connector from a donor cartridge.

Might I be able to just remove the ROM chips from the donor cart, leave the lockout chip, and run the pinout from the fun joy to it's matching pins on the donor cart or would I need to isolate the cartridge portion separate from the NOAC parts to have a chance? The cart slot on the PCB you posted is of the 60-pin Famicom type, it's identical to the 72-pin US connector except it's missing 12 pins from the middle. 4 of these are for the lockout chip (which doesn't exist in the Famicoms) and the rest went to some mystery expansion port under the NES.

Google around for a "family converter". It's pretty simple to wire a US slot to the Famiclone board.

Now it's possible that I missed the entire point of your post. If you're asking how to wire the glop-top ROM chips to your portable Hyperkin board, you're better off to find a cheap Famicom pirate cart which has the games you want on it.

The point of my asking was pretty much that. I'm looking to canibalize this board's multicart rom into a 72 pin NES cartridge. I was mostly wondering if anyone has tried simply wiring one of these to something like a family converter to see if they could act as a cartridge. If the pins for the cartridge port on the Mega Joy are common to the pins on the Mega Joy's multicart rom then I think that might work.
