Anyone interested in a PS2?

Post by Sun-Wukong »

Ok, so I have a PS2 that works well enough, but it has two problems. One, the disk drive doesn't always work. Sometimes it'll open on the first try, others... let's just say patience is a virtue. Two, (And here's the big one.) The first Controller Port doesn't work. Once in a blue moon it will, but only for about 10-20 minutes, then it's f'ed up again. I noticed there's a prong missing in the controller I was using when it messed up, and a piece of... something is missing in the controller port itself. That's probably the problem, I would fix it except I have no idea how to.

Not the best deal, but still, anyone interested? Working system with all the cords, but it's a bit of a fixer upper.

It may be asking a little much, but I was thinking another working PS2 without an F'ed up controller port. Don't worry, I'd through in some more stuff to sweeten the deal. I've got 4 controllers, 1 of which is the one I was using when the port screwed up, and another I'm pretty sure is messed up anyway. The other 2 are 3rd Party, but they work just fine. I also have an extra Dreamcast Rumble Pack if anyone is interested. I'll update this post in a few minutes with pictures.

EDIT: Okay, here are the pictures.

Top Left: PS2 with Cords.
Top Right: All four Controllers, top two are messed up, bottom two work fine.
Bottom: Front and back of the Rumble Pack.

I know, it seems kind of weird trading a PS2 for another PS2 and a Rumble Pack, but I'm really desperate to get a new one on account of my current one not working. So many games I never got to finish... :( I'll try to see if there's anything else I'm willing to through in.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. Could a mod move this then?
