I paid $125 for my SNK POW arcade machine, which was a good deal then for a fully functioning arcade cab, and an even nicer deal now.

As for a console games; DOA Ultimate new for XBox for $2.68 after tax at Block Buster Video.

I've gotten many game consoles gotten free, some even working, some off the curb, some from garage sales that were closing down, and a couple from friends.

£2 for the AV headset (my Cyber Vison project).

£1 for GBC console.

£2 for GBA console.

£4 for a NES console.

These come to mind...

Best deal I've ever had (and so far the only deal...) as far as paying for things goes:

From a garage sale I managed to get these:

Model 2 Sega Genesis
Model 2 Sega CD addon
(all connections included)
8 Sega CD games
4 Genesis games
2 Three-button controllers
1 Six-button controller

All for a whopping 10 bucks!

Free ps2 with five games and two controllers from my sister. Someone left it in her communal rental house she lives in, and no one really wants it, so I got it.

Perfectly Working Atari 2600 and about 20-30 games for $5.

Came with two joysticks ans some crazy input pad thing.

And a bunch of classics, unboxed though, such as Pacman, Frogger, and Super Mario Bros. (Basically it's the minigame from SMW 3)
