Best Deal you've ever found on a game/system?

Post by Sun-Wukong »

For me, it's a tie between the following two:

At Goodwill, I found an Atari 2600 with a butt-load of games for $7.50. Too bad it burned out from too much Break Out.

At Hastings, I found a small box for $30. Inside said box was a Game Boy Advance, an E-Reader, 5 packs of E-Reader cards, and two AA batteries. I know, batteries included, how crazy is that?

Strange. I got a similar deal, with an expansion pack and 3rd party controller I absolutely adore. Did yours have the jumper or the expansion pack?

I guess its a matter of opinion. Are we talking quality or quantity?

For $50 I got Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 with strategy guide and complete with box and manuals 5 years before ebay was started.

Once at a garage sale about 10 years ago I got 3 atari 7800's for and 30-50 games for $20. I once traded one of my many Sega Genesis systems for a Turbo Grafx 16 with 3 games, an Atari, some NES games, I think a few other things. Before there was ebay, so wonderful and rich, I was hitting up thrift stores and rummage sales like the world depended on it. Found tons of my collection that way. Sega Master system at a rummage sale w/ 10 games for $15, Atari's by the dozen. I've seen more Genesis systems than I care to.

Sigh, good times...

Ps2 slim with GH guitar, and 5 games for $20 since it was 'broken'. Tweaked the laser and I was rocking 10 minutes later.
