I'm looking to take off the protective foam on the back of the Gameboy Color screen. However, it's glued on surprisingly well, and gingerly lifting each of the corners did not work at all.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get the protective foam off, without damaging my screen?
Use a hair dryer on a low heat setting. Hold it at a far distance, and heat the thing really slowly. I'm talking 5 minutes. The heat will loosed the glue and it will peel right off.
Patience is key! too close or too hot, and you'll melt the foam and possibly damage the LCD.
