you mean a ps1 screen? Yes, it sounds like a cool idea, but battery consumption would pretty high I assume.

he said sega cdx, not cd. The cdx is a small genesis/scd combo unit sega released at the end of the genesis's lifespan.

Do you mean thin enough or "thin enough"? There is a distinct difference on this site, most people settling for the fairly terrible latter.

Yes, do you mean "reasonably thin," or "just thin enough that I can lift it off the ground when I'm playing it?"

Anyway, you're probably not going to be able to make it any thinner than the Sega Neptune mashups a few people have made. Which is to say, no thinner than a Model 2 Genesis.
