EDIT: Static and loud buzzing screen on ps2

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

EDIT: Static and loud buzzing screen on ps2

Post by themadhacker »

One of my friends has a zenith ps2 screen that he says does not work. So I told him I could try to fix it. My friend told me that when he turns on the ps2, the zenith screen turns blue. The ps2 works good on a tv though. Any ideas on what could be wrong with the screen?

On my 8 inch one, blue means that no video is going into the screen
So maybe a bad connection

sweet. If my friend remembers, he said he would give it to me since he has no use for "broken stuff".

My friend gave me the screen today, but turns out it's an Intech brand.

EDIT: I plugged it into the wall, turned it on, and there was this loud buzzing, and white lines all over the screen. I hooked up my snes though the AV ports in the back, and there was no difference.
