a good 2.5 inch lcd screen
I plan on making a nes portable using a yobo nes and a 2.5 inch screen, the only problem is, I have no clue where I can find an affordable and good quality 2.5 inch lcd. If anybody has a link to where I might be able to find a 2.5 inch lcd, lemme know please.
i hate how electronic part suppliers give you an option on their website to filter your searches so that you can find a certain part and no results come up!

screen
I have two concepts of how I want my portable nes to look like, the first one is simple and uses a coleco head
to head plug and play tv game as the
case but requires a 2.5 inch lcd screen and
a yobo nes, the second one requires a
bit more work on the case and a 16:9
widescreen screen and a yobo nes.

lcd
that looks a bit big, I looked on ebay, they have some good ones but they are pretty expensive. AEI components is where Ben got his 7 inch lcd for his wii portable, but the 2.5 inch lcd on that site is way out of my price range. I think that hipgear controller screen could work, I used to have one but due to shoddy assembling of the damned thing, it broke and they are nearly impossible to find on ebay now!

This is a great screen for a great price. It uses very little power, is the smallest screen I've ever seen, excluding the AEI comp screens, and actually has great quality considering it's on DX. Only problem is that it runs on 12v, as opposed to AEI comp's screens able to run off, what was it, anywhere from 3v-12v?Bigmac wrote:How about this? http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15000
