Yep you can get Half Life 1 for 98 cents on Steam. It a little promotion for half life's birthday. But the deal only lasts till noon tomorrow.

Too bad it's the old GoldSrc version... no Source engine there.

I already have it on CD (negligible price from a box full of discs from what can be best described as a "tech flea market" at a nearby university), so what's the point?

Back in the day when HL was new and super amazing, I got it along with CS, about 15 other fps games (some expansions) and a few other other PC games boxed with manuals and everything at a garage sale for $5.00. $.98 is an alright deal.

I'd get it, but I played all of the Half-Life series before H-L2, and I'd have to re-install steam. The CD is like 4 feet away, like hell I'm getting up.

Anyone here played it on the Dreamcast? Rather good on it. Did pirate it for the DC, but not before purchasing it from Steam nice and legally for the PC.

I have it for DC. Good game. Its basically the HL for PS2 but on DC.

I also have counterstrike for dreamcast.
