Dropping voltage?

I'd love to build one of these, but I have a bit of a problem before I start. The charger I grabbed runs at 5.7v. How do I drop that down to an even 5v in that tiny of a form factor? (My charger's about the same size as the one in the Instructable.)

well im not a modding guy but ill sugest a 7805 chip
something like this.

Can't use a 7805, they have a minimum input of 6v I think it was? It was above 6v if it's not 6.
