Basically Sony's mascot should be the first character most people think about when they hear Playstation. I'll bet Solid Snake comes on top. But I guess the 'official' mascot still is Sackboy since they said it themselves. This statement makes sense, it's 'kiddie friendly' and works well with older people too. Also, the Sackboy can be customized to fit almost everyone.

Personally, I think Snake is the mascot. But logically he's not. Still, a mascot needs to work with everyone, and he's just not the mascot type for kids. And didn't he die or something in MGS4 since it was his last story? A mascot simply can't be dead or +60 years of age who smokes for a hobby and has some kind of disease eating him up inside.

Nathan Hale = Resistanceexploding.monkey wrote:i didnt realy catch who nathan hale or jan templar were, or jack and daxter, or even 'sackboy'.
Jan Templar = Killzone
Jak & Dexter.. .game is the same name.
Sackboy = Littlebigplanet.
And these days, Solid/Old Snake is WAY more memerable than Lara Croft. Tomb Raider is nothing these days.

Yes Tomb Raider was on Saturn first, then DOS and PlayStation - 1996 ... remember playing it for 2 minutes on a demo disk and thinking it was a pile of poop and not bothering with it. (Controversial!

Don't think Sony has a mascot for the PlayStation; I guess their logo is the mascot!
