Can the Intec Gamecube screen run off 7.2v?

$10 for one of these is epic.

Oh, and I tried. It wont run off the PSone's 7.5v adapter.

Maybe not straight, but check inside, there's probably a power regulator board or something of the sort. I'm sure you can help yourself far better than I can help you at this point. (Well I DO have that screen it's just junk and in a box, and I'd rather not touch it).
