Hi, I'm Solar Egg

Post by Solar_Egg »

Yo. This is Solar Egg, maker of the S-Cube, here to introduce myself. As you may know, I happen to be new here. We have been modding for a total of three months so far, and need inspiration for our next project. Btw, we are less incabable than you would think for someone who just learned how to solder. Although we shall never rise to the glory of certain modders (Ben, I'm looking at you), I am open to ideas from everyone.
So let's hear 'em!

Well, Hey, welcome to the forums.

I wonder if it's worth having an Introductions forum/topic for new members.

Forum, no. Topic, probably.
My blog
ASM Retro <- Gameboy Classic Backlight

Being the sadistic bastard I am, I have covered Frog's left eye with a Santa hat.

Hey guess what? Basement Modder gave me an idea! :D

(please tell me if this has been done before)
We all know that NES Duck Hunt is a much more challenging game than Link's Crossbow Training, no? This is because the Wii Zapper has "pointer" functionality while the NES Zapper does not. So; I bet I could mod an NES Zapper with a new case and a laser pointer built in. The laser would turn on with a button on the side of the Zapper. (kinda like laser-tag) This way, you can tell where you're aiming.

Welcome to the forums! Does your username have any meaning, or was it just a random thing?

I've never heard of anyone doing it. Sounds like a pretty good idea.

Welcome. I find it kinda of strange that you picked someone, that to my knowledge, isn't very well known around here to show you around. Should be nice too see what you can do.

That's because I don't post much. I just read A LOT of things

(usually by the time I find an article, the project has been long finished.)

Welcome you two. I haven't seen either of you here before.

Admittedly, when I opened this topic, I was expecting some cool project involving a plastic egg modded to do something tripping with a small solar cell.

...

hmmmm....

This is the sixth thread you've ever posted in, and 4 of those were in the PS2 etc forum. Not everyone reads every forum. Don't act so high and mighty like we all should have heard of you by now.

and it's "then". "Than" is a comparison between two things. "He wonder how to sex better than he wonder how to owned."
"Then" relates to two different times. "I got home, then after I went on the forums, I wondered how to sex."

I didn't mean it in that way. I just wanted more people to know about my infamous portable by the time I ever get around to finishing it.
