Sega Nomad yellow video

So I've got a screenless sega nomad that I've been using with TV copmosite out for a while. It looked fine, like any old genesis.

In the last week though, it turned yellowish, as if the blue is not coming through at all.

Does anyone know what might have done this? I haven't tested S-video yet and lack the tools to try RGB.

not a clue but this is the wrong forum because at the end of the sega forum it says,"(And don't forget the nomad!)

have you opened it up and looked? That is the only advice I can give you.

The nomad is a handheld. I'm hacking it.

I opened it up, nothing looks wrong.

Give the contacts a nice cleaning. If you still have the proble it might be the cord you're using for the video out, or it's the jack.

It's not the cables for the video out; it's just composite, and I've soldered it directly and checked for bad joins.

If anyone suggests cleaning the cart I will damage their souls as that's a preposterous solution to discolored video. Besides, the game I'm using (Sonic 2) has an integrity check with a simple checksum - if the cartridge isn't being read perfectly it won't boot.
