Wall Street Journal tells Disney they should buy EA

What the heck.

This could either be a really bad idea, or a very good idea. Depends on you look at it.

Your guys thoughts?

Disney will knock every bloody title down to an EC rating.

(Remember, EA publishes games like Dead Space, Rock Band, and Crysis.)

Also remember their horrible attempt at a music game: Ultimate band. This would bring a horrible end to a steadily declining game publisher. Remember when EA started out? Those were the good days. And when Disney didn't rely on fake pop stars to make their money?

Disney is not what any major video game company needs. Disney does what they do best, and that is catering to kids ages 3-12.

EA does what they do best and that is make games for teens and young adults. All the violent video games, sports titles and nearly everything else.

These two should not mix! The result would be like baking a cake where you use salt instead of sugar. It's will look night at first but once you sink your teeth into it, you'll have a nasty taste in your mouth that will be hard to get rid of.

Wait, if Disney bought EA, what the heck would that make Kingdom Hearts? It's already the bastard offspring of Disney and SE, so now it'd have some crazy uncle as the publisher or something?
