Me, I have my account frozen for now but over the summer I played like 5-10 Hours a day every other day or so and couldn't stop.

It's really fun to quest with friends. If I didn't have friends on WoW then it would be pretty boring. Make sure you have some friends to play on it if you want to play it.

I do. I play during what free time I have, which isn't much this term. If anyone is interested I'm on Blackhand, horde. I usually am on a good deal of time Wensday and Friday night... if nothing else is going on.

Everyone of my friends is addicted to it, and one had to go to a Addiction clinic, where people had drug problems, but his was for WoW
I played it twice when I was bored using my friends account, and never played myself because you had to pay to play just one game
I use xboxlive and you can play hundreds!

all my friends play it and they aren't addicted to it as badly now as they first were when it came out; but they are anxiously awaiting the new expansion pack though.

Eew, World of Warcraft.

I don't see the allure of those subscription-based online games; why have a second job you have to pay for? That $15 a month or whatever it costs adds up.

Yep, that is why I only played the Trial.

and I can tell you it is boring without friends, cause nobody I knows really gives a crap about WOW.

so, your friend pays $15 a month to theoretically make real money? Also, even if he can make more gold I doubt he can sell it to make $15 or more real cash.

I tried the 10-day trial and got addicted. Then I thought about the bludgeon it would take to my already diminishing social life, studies, and wallet, and I opted to put my resources elsewhere.

I have the subscription setup to renew every three months, so it's about $13 a month. I make that money pretty quick at my (very) part-time job. And really that gives me something I can do for a whole month, talk with friends and generally have fun.

I consider this a win/win, as if you think about say movies, going to a movie and buying a drink and snake will run you about $15+. And that movie will be no longer then 3 hours. So when you think about it I can get on almost anytime I want and play this game, and at the end of the month it's only $13.

I will admit that currently I am loosing my interest in the game. It's how it is when you have two 70s and really there's not much I can right now. I'm not on at the times where I can go do Kara, or AZ, and so all I really can do is level lower characters and do the dailies for my 70s. Really gets boring fast.

i canceled my subscription three times and now i'm back on. not even NEARLY as addicted as i used to be. i play every other day or so and only for an hour or two, sometimes more.

i'm on uldum, frostmourne, and blackwater raiders because i have friends on different realms (duuuumb). and i play both alliance and horde.

favorite part? i guess because when i play i feel like i'm in lord of the rings or something. i dunno.
