Got me a 72' Super Beetle, with quite a bit of modification.
Good fun.
After-market Brazilian Air-Cooled 1600cc engine in there.
After-market sunroof because Volkswagen didn't put em' in any of the Super Beetles...

It's almost entirely a "Cal-Style" bug.

Built in Arizona specifically to race.
Once the guy was done, he toned it down and sold it to the gal' I got it from.
So it's not as powerful as it used to be, but it's still WAY beyond any stock Beetle.

I think it's real cool, I was able to get a log of it's past race history, wins and losses and all that.
Best time it ever got in a quarter mile was about 10.5.
I wish it could still do that :?

Eh, I'll post pics later, I really shouldn't even be typing this Image

Well it's better than walking!
i loathe stagecoach with a passion

Im a walker mostly, i enjoy it, bout the only time in my life were i get a chance to just let my mind wander. I walk to uni and back most days, which is a 45 minute walk either way. Or if its raining i hop on the free uni bus.

I ride bikes a bit more the summer, i dont like riding in the winter so much.

If i could afford a vehicle id love a transit van, but i aint gonna have that kinda cash anytime soon, i mean i barely make minimum wage as it is

Try my old Jeep... 12MPG city, 15 highway *shudder*

I miss driving that guy, though... that car had personality, no question about it.

Still makes me wonder about those Lamborghinis, and Ferraris, whenever I see them on the Speed channel THEY NEVER mention the MPG on them, and with big v10 and v12 engines they can't be getting too many MPG  not to mention they probably have to put in the highest Octane gas they can get, which bumps it up $0.20 a gallon.

But then again, if your rich enough to have one, you wouldn't give a crap about gas prices anyway.

Now about the HDR photo, I still find it mildly retarded that anything HD looks better than the real world.

Mi Madre's '02 Hyundai Elantra, My dad's '02 Audi A6, or his, "Rare, Fast, and Pampered," '04 VW R32. Mom and Dad are separated, and I live with my mom (lolz  ) so I'm usually in the elantra. But im with my dad most weekends. I ride my bike or walk when i can, but tough in a crappy suburbia.
