Probably a simple question..

I have a regular cd/radio. We were cleaning out the shed and found 2 VERY
large speakers. So i soldered the two together but heres my question:
I have a psp and i want to be able to connect it through the headphone jack,
Is there any way to do this?

what is the wattage of the speakers? Because they will most likely be to much for the psp.

and the middle one is right

So, just take an old headphone jack cable and ohm then out to find which wire is which. Solder accordingly.

If you need anymore help you should prolly not be doing the project (psp's are still somewhat expensive)

You need an amp. Plain and simple. Running those speakers directly off the headphone jack (which is designed for really small speakers, not huge things with giant coils and impedance) will be like trying to pull a train with a Honda Civic. Uphill.

Any stereo receiver with line inputs should be up to the task.

It's not rocket science, man.

And how exactly did you "solder them together"?

oh well thanks,
and i opened it and it had built in speakers so i unsoldered them from the board and soldered the big ones on...

You need a real amplifier / stereo receiver, not the cheap turd in a boom box.
