60 to 72 adapter (famicom to nes) still not working! -solved

Post by misjah »

I`m having some trouble with this one. I connected all matching pins, double checked the connections but it`s still not working - blinking led.... so there must be some extra pin wiring or shorting... anyone have idea, I really want to make this work since I have only a few nes carts and a bunch of famicom....
here`s one example of connectors I folowed:

and here`s the first prototype of adapter: I had to use different cart than this one since there are some pins missing on mario cart....

did you plug it in properly..try flipping the NES part upside down..if that doesn't work keep it but flip the famicon side..if that doesn't work keep the famicon side but flip the NEs side..by NES I mean the orientation that goes into the NES/NES game...the Famicon into the Famicon/Famicon game...I think you have it famicon game the NES system though...

I know what you mean, it`s connected properly, I followed the pins numbering, 1-1, 2-2..... famicom cart is little reversed but I crossed the wires....

I made it to work, the problem was country lockout chip,so I soldered one from already destroyed cart.... I built it to fit in original nes.... with famicom cart attached size is equal to nes carts so it fits perfectly....here it is if anyone is interested....
