I haven't tested how well everything stays cool as the guts are from my dead 1.1 but ill probably swap everything out from my modded 1.3 to test it.

Also it needs a bit of cleaning up especially on the sides where i kinda rushed it and the only tools i used was a razor knife and a pair of cutters (which are really bad and don't always cut) which is why the metal casing is so butchered.

Doesn't look much slimmer. What's the point anyway, still ends up big and heavy?

I don't have time to be bored, my free time is devoted to portablizing and associated project work!

I have an Xbox, bought it a couple of months ago for £10 and got two Metal Slug games for it for about £3 each. Someday I will open it up...

Turn that Xbox into a Media Center. You can cheapmod it or softmod, either would turn it into the powerful beast it was meant to be.

Mine still works somehow...after like 5-6 years.

Anyway, good mod. You could probably make it even slimmer if you replaced the PSU and the Heatsinks. DVD Drive is worthless when you have a modded Xbox with a large HDD.
