I don't think that's normal, is it? How 'bout the rest of you? Have your taste buds evolved to the point where you can appreciate broccoli and fine cuisine?

I'm 18, and yet I don't like most vegetables or meats, I still frequently eat Pop-Tarts for breakfast, and six of my favorite things to eat are doughnuts, Totino's Pizza Rolls, normal pizza with only cheese and pepperoni, macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets (but not "real" cooked chicken, not even KFC) and fruit snacks... I also like my cheeseburgers with only ketchup... not even any pickles (but I do like pickles by themselves).

I think the best way to take care of it is through very constant exposure and with a variety of things, including what you normally wouldn't think to have. You can always start with little things, like adding foods you don't care for as much with foods you do like. Try cooking your own food, too. If you ever want ideas to start, watch Good Eats. It's on the Food Network often enough, and all the episodes on YouTube. Plus, it's the most entertaining cooking show you'll ever watch.
As for condiments, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I like a hell of a lot more foods than I used to, but the only condiments I've gotten to using when I have a choice is onion, barbecue sauce, ranch, and occasionally mustard on a hot dog. I rarely put pepper on my food, and salt isn't even particularly common once the food is actually made. It's all a personal taste thing, I personally think that condiments can overpower the food that you're eating.
Edit:
If you are interested in watching Good Eats, Wikipedia has a list of episodes so you know what you can choose from. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_good_eats_episodes

Hmm... thanks for the suggestions. I don't really care for pepper, but I absolutely love salt. I only recently started using ranch, and only on salads (oh, I do like salads... with the common stuff in it). I've only been using mustard for about a year now, and I only use it on ham/bologna sandwiches, which I like as well... bologna much more than ham, though...

I'm 17, and I'm a terrible eater. I don't like (or refuse to try) most foods. Most of my diet consists of cereal, peanut butter sandwiches, ketchup, and spaghetti. The only fast food I'll really eat is burgers, hot dogs, and fries. I'm aware of the heath implications behind my terrible diet, but I try to offset that with vitamins.
As for beverages, I do not drink coffee or soda/pop/that-fizzy-junk-with-lots-of-different-names. I can count the times I've had pop in my life on one hand. I drink milk (LOTS of milk), fruit juice, and water.
Oh, and I don't like pizza.

It isn't normal to each so much junk. It isn't good for your system and you will get lots of problems when you get older.
If you can't stand eating healthy good, slap in a lot of veg into a pan, cover with boiling water and stock cube, liquidize and enjoy (ie soup!). That way you get healthier. Try fruit salads with fresh fruits - lovely!

It's too expensive to eat healthy!
But, we do occasionally juice some fruits and vegetables with our Jack Lalanne Juicer (which is amazing, BTW), and I will drink that as long as my stepfather didn't put something stupid in it like he does sometimes (banana or tomato or lemon).
If we could afford to do that every day, we would! But again, healthy stuff is expensive.

QFT. i can buy a full 2 liters of soda for less than one USD. 1.9 liters of 100% fruitjuice is usually around 3$America. I think that's the main difference. Laughing

I don't really know what my diet plan is like. I used to be sorta unhealthy? I'm really image-concious so I always eat healthy for the figure etc... although I drink a lot of pop because I cant stand water and fruit juices, and I don't want to drink too much milk because milk can be fattening.. haha.
