Doubling a PSP battery mAh from 3600mAh to 7200mAh?

Does anyone know if it is possible to double the power of a PSP battery?

I have a 3600mAh 3.7v PSP battery, and i want to double its power to 7200mAh 7.4v battery. But keeping in mind it is still possible to keep its original size??

If it is possible, could someone give me a guide on how to do it?

Do you want it for your PS1p?
Also it would be 7.4 at 3600 mAh still

If what you were asking were possible, wouldn't there be 7200mAh psp batteries around. You'd need 4 of those batteries to make a 7.4v 7200mAh battery. Wire two pairs in series, and then those two pairs in parallel. It'll be 4x bigger, just in case you didn't get that from the second sentence.

you post a picture of the battery? Is it the official one? Because no way is it 3600mah. The standard PSP battery uses very good cells, and is only 1800mah. Most third party batteries use 1500mah cells. Bacteria fell for the same thing, thought his DS lite batteries were 2000mah, even though official ones are only 1000mah.

I do not think it is for a psonep, guys, he wants it to be the same size. If you want to use it in the PSP, you cannot just hook up 2 cells, it will not work. I do have a way to use a NEW cell with much higher capacity (And size), though. Lemme know if you are interested, still working out the bugs.

its for a PS1P

and it is anofficial psp battery its just sony had stop making them caus almost no one had made them....

i want it the same size because theres almost no room in my PS1P to hold a bigger battery...

And the 3600mAh battery gives be about 7 hours in my PSP.....

So still, all help appreciated =D

( p.s. it looks exactly the same as a PSP slim battery in all ways, including the circuit board, its just the li-lon cells are a bit bigger....

but if it is possible to double the voltage but leaving the mAh the same, will how long will it power a PS1P, its got most the stuff that bens PS1P the hand built one has.....

You CANNOT have it the same size, it's going to at least double in size depending on how strong you want these batteries to be. If you want to make a 7.4v 3600 mAh battery, refer to the series diagram. Wire it like that.

Also, my stock Psp battery nets me around 8 hours of play, so I think you got ripped.
