Need N64 clones

Hey do any of you know where i could find cheap N64 clones?
Cause i need to know. I am tired of frying N64s

there are none. sorry. At least N64's are inexpensive since you keep frying them.

There is a clone out there, but it's extremely expensive. It doesn't take cartridges, either. You have to download the games onto it. I can't remember what it's called, but it's not worth it.

I think it's called the ique or something like that. I didn't think that counted as a clone though.

It wasn't a clone, it emulated N64 games.

No, it did not emulate them. Not by a long shot. Basically, the Chinese were too cheap to buy games for the N64, so near the end of its lifespan, Nintendo released the iQue. It was essentially an N64 redesigned to use rewritable flash memory that you could buy $8-10 games for from download kiosks. Not worth getting, they can only play those games, and they are all in chinese anyway.

In theory, you could make one play N64 carts... But the knowledge and time required would be IMMENSE, and of too little value for someone to attempt.

And there IS an N64 clone! Nintendo made a special N64 for hotels to use as a pay-per-play system. The entire thing fit in a near standard sized N64 controller, and had no cart slot. Instead, the games were loaded onto it from a central point remotely when you "rented" it for a certain number of hours. The system is fairly unknown, not even a wikipedia page!

I am currently trying to find someplace where I can buy one of these systems to mess around with. Will be hard to do, considering they are supposed to be returned to Nintendo at the end of the lease.

Are you going to add a cart slot? I thought that thing was more of a plug'n'play system, I played one before, and I didn't really like the selection of games other than super smash bros.

Yeah, those hotel N64 things, I dunno. They've been in most hotels I've ever stayed at, but they're all fairly light, could an entire N64 fit in there? Anyways, most hotels charge $10 if you take it, so you might be able to get one for... $10.
