FC Twin

Post by chicub127 »

I just have a question about the FC Twin. I have the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for NES and I have an FC Twin. Is there any way I can get a gun for the FC Twin to play Duck Hunt? I know it's compatible with snes controllers but are there snes guns? Or can I do something to the NES zapper to get that to work.
Thanks

I'm currently working on that. I got original NES controllers working, but have no idea how to get a Zapper/whatever light gun working on the FC Twin. All I know is that you can't use any Super NES guns, as they don't work the same way as a Zapper.

That pinout will work for a regular NES controller, but the gun needs the Data 2 and Data 3 pins. That pinout doesn't give those. That's not enough information to work with.

I don't even think the Data 2/Data 3 lines are connected on an FC Twin, because I have them soldered onto my controller converter, and the Zapper just won't work, not in controller port 1, or in controller port 2. Time to take my FC Twin apart again.
