I'm guessing they just want a number to call in case something goes wrong with the order. Your home phone number or cell phone number would be best to use.

Yeah just give them a phone number they can use to contact you.

Around 3 to 4 years ago when I was a noob, I ordered a card reader for my pc and when they asked me for my street, I only typed in my street name. I didnt realize that was where I was supposed to put my address. So they gave me a call and told me that there was no address. So if i hadnt given them my phone number, I never would have gotten my card reader.
