I'm a professional services consultant at a major corporation, but I don't like it. I went to school for computer science, but I'm doing more project management of software projects than the actual coding, which is what I like doing.

Because of that, I do side projects, like my blog 2Lincolns.com. (I don't consider that breaking the forum rules because it is relevant to the topic). So far I make a few bucks from that, but it's young, so hopefully more in the future.

MY ADVICE TO THE YOUNG GUYS IN HERE:
Money isn't everything. Do what you truly love to do. Only get a credit card to build credit. They are evil, and will eat you alive. If you go to college, cherish EVERY MINUTE. You WILL look back on that time and wish you had more of it. Hang on to your best friends as well as you can. As you get older, life will start to separate you. Don't be afraid to fail, and don't sell yourself short. Remember, do what you love and surround yourself with people who support that.

P.S. I'm only 26 and I'm already saying this stuff. Trust me, it happens.

I work a weekend job at a bar. It's really only enough for some spending money, nothing major. I also get dividends from stocks, again not much, only one gives me much. I used one of them to buy a new computer earlier this year.

I'm thinking even though it's risky, I might get back to making movies for people. That was fun for while, namely because I was able to work up a nice movie collection in the process.

I work for an IT company, managing the Technical Helpdesk team of 3.

Also sort out IT issues for friends or friends of friends or friends of family in my spare time (but this is mainly for beer or "other" favours )

Would love to be like Ben one day, building and creating stuff for monies.

I worry about some Benheckers some times.

And good news, found out they changed my payment system. I make about £30 a week regardless of how many hours I do. This week I did 1 hour 8) So about $60 an hour is a kickass wage.

Don't worry, it's not a regular thing with me. XD

$60 a week?!? And you only worked 1 hour? Doesn't that seem a little unethical?

Hard graft

Today is gonna be brutal.

I have uni lectures from 10 til 6, then work at a pub from 7 til 10, then down to the union for a sound crew shift from 11 till 6 in the morning. Then get up at 10.30 for more lectures next day till 1, then sleep, then back at work again at the union for 6pm till 1am. Im gonna be shattered on thursday.

But that is how i earn my money

Well the last 2 weeks I worked for about 10 hours a week setting up all the student's laptops for the network, so i was working well below minimum wage. Rest of the year should hopefully have few jobs and I'll still rake in £28.75 :D

So probably a bit unethical, but I'm a student and I need money.

Well my main job whihc is on mondays thursdays and fridays, i run a PSP Mod Shop.

I have custom firmwared 359 PSP's to date, i have faceplates on sale, if people buy, i will put them on for people aswell, i have stickers for the PSP, i sell PSP parts, and i sell PSP's that are custom firmwared for about $400 whihc comes with an 8gb mem card, and a free game service....

did i mention i sell memory sticks?

And on the weekend, for 4 hours i am a photographer for a little town buisness.... i get about $250 a week for 4 hours work with the photographer, and i make easily $500 a week on average with the PSP Mod Shop.

The good thing about the mod shop, is that i pay very little for all the parts, and i sell them for whatever i want and i dont pay any of that in tax =D im so happeh =D

i have very little tax caus of the photography job, and i love the people that i have enployed for my PSP Mod Shop, whihc is very little pay, i pay them $14.50 per hour, they only work about 3 hours each week mind you..... and i mod tehir PSP's for half price.....

Well thats my work =D
