Seems like I had a screen that did that because when you take it out of the case you lose the ground between the screen and the controller board. The ground is made by the 5 screws that hold the screen/controller/case together.

Try grounding the screen to one of the grounds on the controller and see if that helps.

So the be exact, the metal on the screen should have a wire soldered onto it, which is soldered to ground?

Yea you see on the screen the 4 screw holes on the corners? They were ground connections that grounded to the controller when everything was screwed together. So you can just solder a ground on one of those screw holes and then to the same place on the controller where the screw was.
