You do know that the Japanese version of the show uses a different song from the American version, right? I call B.S.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

I loved the Ninja Turtles so much as a kid. Still do, but so much more back then. It's funny, it didn't even come on TV when I was a kid, all I had was my brothers' old video tapes and all their toys, and that was all I needed.

The new show is better in my opinion, but the old one is always going to be special to me.

You're the first person I've heard say the new one is better. Though yours is the first opinion I've seen on the new one. LOL. I saw the new one and liked it, but there's an innate loyalty to the original I guess.

Either way, no arguing that it is/was an awesome show.

Now I got to hunt down my 3 GI-Joe CD-ROM's that someone gave me that came with certain GI-Joe toys. And watch the episodes that came on them.

There were 2 episodes per disk. Along with a few games and other stuff.

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

Well, I'm a fan of the original comics (for those who don't know, it was a comic first) and i feel the new series to be much more true to them. That doesn't mean I don't like the old one, I just think the new one is better.

Didn't like the new Turtles as much myself. But its one redeeming feature is the cames of Usagi Yojimbo. Samuri rabbit's beat ninja turtles any day

Japanese pokemon theme wrote: I'll go through flames, floods, weeds, forests,
The soil, clouds, and under the skirt of the girl (Scream!)
And through here, through there..
And through here, through there..
A long, long road to go..
To get pocket monsters....
Good-by, my home....

I'm starting with the cute guy (Pikachu!)
Win and win with a trained ability,
Go to a new town with new friends
Success is not guaranteed
(A matter of course)
What's the matter?
You, monsters, always go all out,

I'll go through flames, flood, weeds, forests
The soil, clouds, and under the skirt of the girl (Forget it!)
And through here, through there
And through here, through there
A long, long road to go
To get pocket monsters,

Tired, I say good night
I Close my eyes and am reminded (Pikachu?)
That through fanned flames and a storm,
Hearing you, monsters,
I battled.

Old days they said Yesterday's enemy is today's ally
But today's ally is an aeon ally,
I wanna be a great pocket-monster trainer!....I should be!
I heard someone telling the dreams come true with the
sound of music,
...A bud would bloom..
...I would see my dream be true.....
Strangely, although it shares a lot of the same characteristics... WTF? "I'll go through flames, floods, weeds, forests, The soil, clouds, and under the skirt of the girl".

No way that would ever get on an American childrens TV show. I can sing 9 of the American pokemon themes (I hate the orange islands season 1 theme, the pokerap (Done for a while during johto), and the D/P theme. The new D/P theme is ok, though, if a bit short.

Wow, I sound like such a loser...

Also, the mighty morphin power rangers theme is indeed awesome.
